Ingredients:
- Cacao Powder (for dusting or chocolate dipping sauce)
- 1 cup water
- 2 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter or coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Coconut Sugar (for coating)
- Ground cinnamon (optional, for coating)
Instructions:

Prepare Dough
In a saucepan, heat water, butter (or coconut oil), sugar, and salt until the mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in flour until it forms a smooth ball of dough. -
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Let the dough cool for a few minutes, then mix in eggs and vanilla one at a time until smooth. -
Shape Churros
Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star-shaped tip. -
Fry
Heat oil in a deep pot to 375°F (190°C). Pipe strips of dough directly into the hot oil, cutting with scissors. Fry until golden and crispy. -
Coat
Mix Busy Beans Coconut Sugar and cinnamon (if using). Roll warm churros in the mixture. -
Serve
Dust with Busy Beans Organic Cacao Powder or serve with a cacao dipping sauce.
