Classic Pumpkin Spice Pie

Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin purée
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust (or homemade)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Filling
    In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin purée, brown sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble the Pie
    Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it gently into place. Pour the pumpkin filling into the crust.
  4. Bake
    Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the filling is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the crust edges begin to brown too quickly, cover them with foil halfway through baking.
  5. Cool and Serve
    Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing. Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice if desired.
