Beetroot Latte (Vegan)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp beetroot powder (or 2 tbsp beetroot juice)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Milk
    In a small saucepan, combine almond milk and water. Heat over medium heat until warm (but not boiling).
  2. Mix in Ingredients
    Whisk in beetroot powder (or juice), vanilla extract, maple syrup, and cinnamon if using. Continue whisking until fully blended and frothy.
  3. Serve
    Pour into a mug and serve warm. For extra froth, you can use a milk frother or blend the mixture before serving.
